Our experienced team of chiropractors are knowledgeable in spinal and chiropractic adjustments. The purpose of spinal adjustments is to return the spine to a natural state of health and to reduce pain, muscle spasms, and nerve irritation, so you can enjoy your life pain free.
Our team understands the stress and pain patients are in following personal injury accidents. We analyze, diagnose, and create an individualized treatment plan for whiplash and soft tissue injuries. We will thoroughly explain your treatment and update your insurance agency on your behalf.
Most work injuries are caused by overuse and repetitive stress injuries. Overtime, small tasks done with poor posture can lead to acute and chronic pain, which can result in reduced worker productivity, lost time from work, disability, and an inability to perform job tasks.

In 2018, Dr. Johnson continued serving people in a different manner by sharing his wealth of knowledge by teaching other Doctors and chiropractic students.
Growing up working on his farm, Dr. Johnson has always appreciated the importance of good health. He learned at an early age that without good health, nothing else matters. He believes that good health is achieved by eating pure clean healthy foods and keeping your body balanced structurally. It is for this reason that he has dedicated his life to helping others live the best quality life possible.
Dr. D'Aversa is originally from South Jersey just a short drive away from the Philadelphia area. She graduated from Triton Regional High School in 1995. She then attended Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, graduating in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in Biology. While attending Rowan, she worked as a certified personal trainer and became focused on not only living a healthy lifestyle, but helping others do the same. At that point, Dr. D'Aversa, a long time chiropractic patient herself, saw an opportunity to help even more people. She then decided to attend Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2002.

Chiropractic and improved nutrition has become the avenue for her to do just that. Dr D'Aversa utilizes a "whole body" approach to health care. She believes that true health is attained from a balance of the structural, chemical ( nutritional) and mental (spiritual) factors of each individuals body.
Both Dr. Johnson and Dr. D'Aversa continue to keep up to date on changes and advancements in the chiropractic and health field. They have continued their professional development by attending numerous seminars covering topics such as: Nutrition, Specific chiropractic adjusting, advanced extremity adjusting, cranial manipulation, visceral and soft tissue adjusting and numerous hormone balancing seminars. You will be cheerfully greeted when you arrive and welcomed to our office. Our patients often tell us how warm and inviting our office feels. We want all of our patients to feel comfortable in our office. We believe the healing process is more than just the adjustment, and that a pleasant environment can accelerate the healing process.
If you have not previously completed your new patient information sheets they will be given to you after your arrival. These forms are very important. This helps the doctor get a complete picture of your health condition in order to better serve you.
At this point the doctor with meet with you. This will include an in-depth consultation as well as an examination. At this point, if no additional testing is needed, the doctor will give the patient a brief explanation of your condition and proceed with treatment.
Prior to leaving, patients may be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and / or stretches .
The last event will be payment for treatment and setting up convenient times for follow up appointments. Depending on the severity and nature of the patient's condition, patients are rescheduled within a few days to a few weeks of initial treatment.
For most patients, this first visit takes approximately 90 minutes.
At your second visit, the doctor will explain what was found during the examination and how we may be able to help you. After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we will make recommendations specifically designed to help you obtain and maintain optimal health. We call this the report of findings. The goal of this is to educate you about your condition in order to help you understand how it occurred and how to prevent it from occurring again!
Typical visits can vary in time starting at 30 minutes up to 60 minutes depending on the severity of a patients condition. It is important to remember that each adjustment builds on the one before it, just like an exercise program. If you fall off the schedule or miss a number of appointments, your full recovery will be compromised. This is especially true for accidents, serious traumas, or chronic cases. If your goal is to get well as quickly as possible, it's necessary to make every effort to make all scheduled appointments.
Keep in mind, getting well is a process, NOT an event. Regularly scheduled adjustments reduce the stress to your body's nervous system and allow the body to heal and repair itself properly!
